Dunbrody Hybrid SBG

Another great shoot in New Ross. The rain stayed away and there were some impressive scores - also some difficult shots. Nice to see targets in different places. I must thank the group I shot with for a very pleasant day (Brendan Andrew Damien and Brendan).
A nice mug of tea at half time and I did miss Deirdre's cakes. Lots of new faces. Some really good raffle prizes (nice power tool set).
Well done to all who organised and worked on the shoot. No hold ups at registration, no bunch ups on the course; a well oiled machine and a very well run shoot

The weather surprised on Sunday as it remained fine throughout despite forecasts which predicted otherwise.
Thanks to all who arrived to take part. The woods held up reasonably well, altough mucky in places. Thanks to all who helped prepare the course and to those who marshalled and assisted on the day. Hope those present enjoyed the course. A couple of our 3d's reached the end of their lives and are now destined for the scrap heap.
Well done to the winners, the runners up, and to those who felt they shot well. The underage archers all did extremely well too. Congrats to everyone.
Now we concentrate on hosting UKIFAC in August which is approaching fast. (see our UKIFAC site for all the details). Hope to see everyone there in August as it promises to be an interesting and memorable weekend...
