Blue Arrows Trad Shoot

29 October

Just the job! My second Trad Shoot and my first Woodsman Round in Blue Arrows and what a great day out it was.
Great company, lovely course and splendid targets. It was lovely to shoot a different type of round for a change and talking to the people (in the know!) this is nothing new to Ireland. Where have I been all this time? Missing out on all the fun me thinks! Can't wait for whatever Blue Arrows has in store for us next time round.
Thank you to John and Ger for making us all feel so welcome and for the great day out, and I enjoyed every minute.
Thank you!
Eric / IAC.

Brill Trad shoot thanks to John, Ger and Co...
Great targets, nice course, fun atmosphere, delicious soup, good banter, John's usual testing shots between trees, an early finish, decent weather etc... not to mention very nice raffle prizes. The unique "limited edition" forged arrowhead necklaces were a wonderful bonus and something to really appreciate...
The morning consisted of 18 mixed animal faces including some of the new Merlin animal photo targets and some rare stock animal faces, and the afternoon comprised of all hession faces. The weather stayed fine, and the course was not too mucky once you stuck to the trails. About 15 archers took part.
Thanks for a great time Blue Arrows as usual, look forward to returning soon...
